Real Kingdom, Real Jesus, Real Life
March 29th, 2010 | 2 Comments
We know the message, We’ve heard the word; Ought we be established in all that we heard? Tentatively pulling ourselves up to stand, One leg on the rock, the other the sand; Maybe this time we’ll learn to trust You, The One who’ll do all He’s promised to do. Maybe we’ll learn the Rock’s in fact stable, Our house is established, our God is able! Can we stop doubting, choosing instead just to see, by faith, what we’re expecting, and call it to be? Then our daring transmission of the message will be A market-place wonder, a sign, our victory As people renewed, see Your glory Not in heaven, But on earth, Not far off But near, Not fruitless effort, Not religion or strife, But a demonstration of this real Kingdom, Real Jesus, Real life. A Testimony on Teen Relationships
January 4th, 2010 | Add a Comment
I have an interesting view on relationships for young believers, one that’s not popular and not easy to swallow. It’s a view that stems from my life experience. During my early high – school years I was probably one of the most insecure, overly sensitive girls I think I’ve ever known. I felt ugly, undesired, unwanted and worthless amongst my peers. I was the centre of much ridicule, and rejected by many. This of course … Read entire article »

Testimony of Kirsty Allan, UK

I’ve probably been a Christian for about 13 years; I give a ball-park figure because I can’t remember a blinding light Paul style conversion. I remember though when I was seven or eight having the opportunity in a Sunday school lesson to pray and ask Jesus into my life silently to myself. Before that I was always aware God was around somewhere, there to say a prayer to every night before bed, thanking Him for … Read entire article »

Revival on Chokoloskee Island 1933
April 10th, 2008 | 1 Comment
The history of revival and the spread of the Gospel of Christ are filled with numerous stories of relatively unknown pioneers. This is the story of how one family left everything to travel to a small island at the direct leading of the Holy Spirit and how God moved upon the people of that community to receive the Gospel. On July 7, 1904, James A. Ridgeway and Daisy (Bailey) Ridgeway were the proud parents of … Read entire article »

What is Spiritual Warfare? My Thoughts on Fighting the Devil.
May 5th, 2005 | Add a Comment
Today is National Day of Prayer in America, they are voting for a Prime Minister in Great Britain and I received an early morning phone call from a good friend. With plenty of sleep in my voice I answered the phone after checking the caller I.D. He had been praying for me this morning and wanted to tell me what God had told him for me. “No matter what happened, I was in a battle.” That was all, then with very little small talk, back off of the phone. … Read entire article »

A Brand New Life (Part One) – Exit the Old
February 10th, 2004 | Add a Comment
Old things are passed away – behold, all things are become new. Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it? Tragically, very few Christians ever live in the reality of it… 18 Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert – Isaiah 43: 18 – 19 (Amplified Bible) 17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! – 2 Corinthians 5: 17 (Amplified Bible) 22 Strip yourselves of your former … Read entire article »

Revival NOW!
January 13th, 2004 | Add a Comment
The problem with religion is that it will never allow you live in the NOW of your salvation, but has you living off some past experience or looking forward to some vague future blessing! The Word of God is quite clear that everything has already been abundantly provided to enable us to live in Revival NOW! … Read entire article »

In Search of Revival?
January 13th, 2004 | Add a Comment
The Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland is renowned in evangelical circles as a place of historic revival. Is it therefore valid for Christians to visit there in search of past glory? Or can such pilgrimages in fact hinder what God is seeking to move His church into in this generation? … Read entire article »
