Every now and then we feel forgotten.  It’s that feeling like we could slip off into a corner of the universe and no one would really notice or care.  It’s part of living in a sinful world where rejection and disappointment are all too common.  But the truth is quite different. God knows your path.  This is much more than a simple, “Yeah, God knows where I’m going.”  This is an intimate knowledge, a willful understanding and even a participation in the way that you take as one of His righteous ones.

When it says God knows the way of the righteous, it also means that He has respect for the way of the righteous.  It means He looks down with mercy and compassion on the righteous as they go throughout life, often bumbling through decisions and choices because of a limited understanding.  He knows.  And He is compassionate to you during all of your times.

Don’t be led astray by emotions.  God knows the way you take.  He knows the steps you walk.  He understands.  He cares.  And He is with you to the very end.
